Anglo Dance Studios based in Charminster, Bournemouth has a wide variety of both Adult and Children’s classes available.
Come and join our lively, informal Adult Ballroom and Latin classes and you’ll be surprised how enjoyable learning to dance can be. We have Absolute Beginners Classes and a mixture of Improvers Classes for you to try!
For Juniors we have everything from Acro, Ballet, Theatre, Modern through to Ballroom, Latin as well as Funky Disco and Street Dance.
So there is a class for everybody to enjoy!

Friday Grade 4 Ballet (Ages 12+)
In Grade 4 we continue to improve coordination, balance, rhythm and poise with the aim of keeping our lessons stimulating, challenging and most of all enjoyable for everyone!
We include energetic and imaginative exercises and routines based around the IDTA syllabus.
Classes are always structured to allow each child to learn to their full potential with the opportunity to take part in school shows, theatre productions and external exams if you wish them to.

Primary Ballet is a brilliant follow on from the Preparatory ballet classes.

Saturday Junior Ballroom & Latin Award Class
*Class is by invitation only*
Ballroom and Latin dance class where the juniors train for their dance awards and grades. We split the class into different groups with a variety of levels all learning new moves and perfecting their technique together. Most juniors then stay on to lead during the Star Dance class afterward which is fantastic for building confidence and strength.

Saturday Boogie Boppers - Disco/Freestyle/Jazz movements
Fun dance class for 3 years and up! We use pop, Disney, and chart music to create a wonderful atmosphere for the children to learn to dance. Both boys and girls attend the class which covers Disco/Freestyle, and general dance techniques to improve balance, rhythm and coordination in a lovely, happy class.
Pre-booking is essential due to the popularity of this class

Saturday Dance Club: Street, Ballroom & Latin up to 16 years!
The Saturday Dance Club is a fab introduction to all styles of dance, so it is perfect if you're not quite sure what style to choose yet! The class covers Street and Freestyle, Ballroom and Latin and also has a fun disco to practice and relax after! It is such an enjoyable and social club to join, and the children still work hard and have the chance to perform and take exams if they wish!

Saturday Advanced Street and Hip-Hop Dance Class (Invitation Only)
We work on style, attitude, rhythm and flexibility with our fresh and funky choreography!
The juniors also love creating their own individual routines, pushing their creativity and performance skills to the limits!
They have the opportunity to perform in school shows and take external exams in all areas including freestyle, Street Dance and Hip Hop!
Class participation by invitation only.

Extra Information
- Adult Classes – Adult classes range from £6.50 to £9.00 per person.
- Junior Classes – Junior classes range from £5.50 to £10.00 per person.
- Some classes have a discount for block booking or siblings, so check with your teacher!
There is no joining fee for any classes and all Adult classes can be paid weekly or monthly. We offer a range of Junior classes that are payable per month or per term in advance. Where a term fee applies we offer 2 pay as you go sessions before signing up to the class. We also require a full term notice with payment if you are stopping these classes.

Personal Tuition
Personal tuition is available by appointment for Ballroom, Latin, Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap, Modern, Salsa, Jive, Freestyle, Street Dance and Wedding 1st Dances. We offer 30 minute, 45 minute and 1 hour 1-1 sessions.
- Adult Lesson fees £25.00 for the half hour (The cost is the same for a solo or couple per lesson)
- Please call to find out about our wedding dance offers!
- Junior lesson fees are £18.00. (This can be spilt between pupils)
Note – Steel tipped heels are not permitted on the dance floor.
